Equipment for Project C4033 in the Sulfur Industry
As part of Project C4033, TPK Orometal d.d. is manufacturing key energy-process equipment for a facility within the sulfur industry, where heat is generated through the combustion of elemental sulfur, and process gases SO₂/SO₃ are used for heat transfer within the system.
• Steam Drum
A horizontal cylindrical steam drum with an outer diameter of Ø1600 mm, total length 7,625 mm, and weight of 12 t, equipped with an integrated steam cooler. Manufactured from P355GH and 16Mo3 materials, designed for 37 bar(g) and temperatures up to 390°C.
• Superheater
A vertical square superheater measuring 7,018 × 3,380 × 3,670 mm, with a weight of 16 t, featuring tube bundles made of 10CrMo9-10 with spiral serrated fins. Designed for steam parameters of 37 bar(g) / 450°C and for SO₂/SO₃ process gases up to 635°C, originating from the elemental sulfur combustion process.
All equipment is engineered according to the technical documentation of Hugo Petersen GmbH and manufactured in compliance with DIN EN 12952 and PED 2014/6
