On 16.06.2023. the company TPK OROMETAL d.d. began implementing the project: "Construction of the photovoltaic power plant SE TPK OROMETAL for own consumption". The project was co-financed by funds from the Modernization Fund based on the proposal of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development sent to the European Investment Bank for the Investment Program for the Promotion of Energy from Renewable Energy Sources.
The program was approved by the European Commission's decision. Following the European Commission's decision, the Ministry of Economy published a Call for Funds "Generation of Electricity from Renewable Energy Sources in the Processing Industry and District Heating" (ref. number MF-2023-1-1), to which the company applied and which granted it grants.
Following the above, the Ministry of Economy, which is responsible for the implementation of the project, paid the funds for the implementation of the project into a special account of the Fund for Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency.
